The Scientific Computing Team of the Computational Methods in Systems and Control Theory group at the MPI in Magdeburg is holding the second workshop entitled "Power-Aware Computing PACO2017" at the Max Planck Society's conference site Ringberg Castle. The workshop aims at bringing together experts in and close to the field in a 3-day event.
For the scientific program the workshop searches for contributions on any development that reports power or energy savings in a computational system. The interests include, but are not strictly limited to:
Talks: 25 minutes +5 minutes for discussion. A computer and data projector for the presentation are provided. A presenter and laser pointer will be avilable, as well.
Posters: The posters can be up to DIN A0 and should be prepared in Portrait orientation. they may be set up Wednesday after the arrival. All posters will be visible during all coffee breaks. The designated Poster session will be Thursday night after dinner.
Abstracts: Please check the abstracts page for more information about the submission procedure. All accepted extended abstracts will be made available in the PACO 2017 collection on Zenodo.
Proceedings: Selected contributions will be invited for a full paper submission to the special issue in Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience.
We are expecting up to 60 participants. Due to the limited
space for accomodation at Ringberg Castle this number can not be
exceeded. The registration fee will be 450€ and payment
information will be sent to you in the email sent out by the
